Program Curriculum - General Practice Residency
Our residents have both first- and second-year General Practice Residency (GPR) training options. Those in the first-year GPR program have the option of staying for a second year. Alternatively, one may do their first-year GPR experience elsewhere and complete an additional GPR year at our institution. There are currently just over 2,200 dental assistants employed in Charlotte, earning an average of $21.17 per hour or $44,040 per year. Job prospects for dental assistants are good, as the city is the largest in North Carolina and continues to grow as a financial, tech and transportation hub for the region.
